There’s nothing in the world that can make you more optimistic, more at peace and more alive than strolling down a beach in Jamaica. Between the spirit of the people, the aroma from the jerk shacks, the sound of the reggae and the vision of green hills peering down on blue water—you’re lifted to a place you never dreamed possible.
The Home of All Right requested a site that could capture the spirit and good vibes the island. The site needed to reflect the natural beauty, the welcoming nature of the people, and show a place where you can energize your spirit and your soul.
Armed with a strong visual brand, our primary foundation was focused on their color palette and how that could be woven through the site. Imagery always plays an important part in any site design, luckily for us the beautiful people and landscapes captured the good vibes perfectly. The site also had to be fun to use, so we created interfaces that were clear, bold, and graphic. Finally, we wanted the site to have an earthy tangible feel to it, something that you wanted to reach out and touch your screen. For inspiration, we used textures and patterns that were indicative of the islands structures and artifacts.
