To reflect that spirit, the logo focuses on one of South Haven’s most iconic landmarks, the South Pierhead Light. The lighthouse guides boats through Lake Michigan’s unpredictable waters and also captures the feeling of finding calm after chaos. Its distinctive shape became the center of the design, supported by bold typography that feels rooted in place. Both the mark and the type were gently distressed to reflect the natural wear and beauty of a coastal town shaped by wind, water, and time. The color palette is cool, calm, and inviting, just like South Haven itself.
